At Worthy Wellness Center, we offer treatment for addiction and mental health disorders. Addiction treatment includes alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, opioids, stimulants, dissociatives, hallucinogens, and synthetic substances. Mental health treatment includes mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, eating disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, psychotic disorders, and sexual and gender-related disorders.
All treatment is tailored to individuals’ treatment history, needs, and goals.
What approaches does treatment include?
Our approach to addiction and mental health treatment provides comprehensive care that is personalized, and rooted in healing the mind, body, and spirit. Our programs include inpatient, residential, detox, outpatient, Medication-Assisted Treatment, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. We also offer holistic activities such as equine therapy and somatic experiencing to support evidence-based therapies and nurture deeper restoration.

We accept most commercial insurance providers at Worthy Wellness Center. We can help individuals with the verification of benefits process. Are Worthy Wellness Center programs pet-friendly?
Yes, our programs and center in Carlsbad, CA, are pet-friendly for dogs. We understand that pets are important companions in the recovery journey and that their presence can help make individuals feel calmer. Pets also provide emotional support, routine and discipline, and physical exercise. We ask everyone considering bringing a pet to treatment to complete a short application form. Our facilities are best equipped to handle dogs under 35 pounds.

We have programs that are women-only to provide safe spaces for women to nurture sobriety and improve mental health. Are telehealth care services available?
Yes, we have telehealth care services for some of our programs. Telehealth is for people who require our high-quality care but who can’t attend sessions in-person at our Carlsbad, CA center. We offer structured virtual sessions with our licensed team to ensure that individuals can still heal. Some programs can’t be conducted virtually due to safeguarding protocols. Do you allow smoking at Worthy Wellness Center?
We have a smoke-free campus at our Carlsbad, CA center. We curate an environment that is healthy and calm to help promote good physical and mental health among our program attendees. We are also inspired by our beachside setting, and try to maintain a natural atmosphere. Individuals can smoke in areas outside of our campus.
What is your technology policy?
We have a flexible technology policy at Worthy Wellness Center, which means that we allow devices. We encourage program attendees to limit their use to focus on their healing and growth, but technology can be used. During therapy sessions, we ask individuals to leave their devices in residences or in their bags. We believe that distraction-free environments facilitate deeper work and progress.
