Worthy Wellness provides personalized psychiatric services in Carlsbad Village by the beach, California. Our individualized treatment approach focuses on “not heads and beds” with demand for excellence in every aspect of care. We serve 20-27 clients on average with comprehensive programming designed for dual diagnosis and mental health only tracks.
Our evidence-based approaches include individual therapy with licensed therapists (LCSW), comprehensive psychiatric care, and holistic therapies including equine therapy, sound bowl, yoga, and breath work. We provide GeneSight testing for medication optimization and full medical panels including STD screening and comprehensive blood work.
Under the leadership of founder and CEO Samantha Paige, who brings 8 years of sober living experience and a background as a former Fox News employee, our facility maintains 23-25 employees plus independent contractors. Our clinical team includes licensed therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, nutritionists, personal trainers, executive chef, and sound bowl practitioners.
We offer multiple levels of care including PHP (4-month average duration), IOP (5-day and 3-day options), and OP with telehealth options. Our supportive housing includes 5 houses (1 men’s, 4 women’s) operated through our separate entity, Worthy Wellness Living.

Morning: Medical Assessment & Individual Therapy
Morning programming begins with psychiatric assessment and individual therapy sessions with licensed therapists. GeneSight testing and comprehensive medical panels are completed during morning hours for new admissions.
Midday: Group Programming & Nutritional Support
Midday includes structured group therapy sessions and nutritional support from our executive chef who prepares custom juices daily. On-staff nutritionists provide specialized support for clients with eating disorder history.
Afternoon: Holistic Therapies & Specialized Programming
Afternoon programming incorporates holistic therapies including equine therapy, sound bowl sessions, yoga, and breath work. Fitness programming includes jiu-jitsu for men and self-defense for women with personal trainers.
Evening: Case Management & Treatment Planning
Evening hours focus on case management services and individualized treatment planning. CEO involvement in treatment planning ensures personalized approach to each client’s psychiatric needs.
