Worthy Wellness provides specialized mental health primary treatment at our Carlsbad Village beachside location in California. Our facility opened September 7, 2022, and offers individualized treatment approaches with a “not heads and beds” philosophy focused on demand for excellence. We currently serve 20-27 clients with personalized treatment plans created by our CEO and founder.
Our evidence-based treatment includes CBT, DBT, individual therapy, group programming, holistic therapies including equine therapy, sound bowl, yoga, and breath work. We provide comprehensive medical services including GeneSight testing for medication optimization and full medical panels with STD screening and comprehensive blood work.
Our clinical team is led by licensed therapists (LCSW), psychiatrists, and case managers, with specialized staff including nutritionists, personal trainers, an executive chef, and sound bowl practitioner. We maintain 23-25 employees plus independent contractors managing 43 people daily.
We offer multiple levels of care including PHP (4-month average duration), IOP (5 day and 3 day options), and OP with telehealth options. Our mental health primary track serves clients with no substance use history alongside our dual diagnosis capabilities.

Midday: Group Programming & Nutritional Support
Daily group therapy sessions with comprehensive curriculum addressing mental health primary concerns and trauma recovery.
Afternoon: Specialized Services & Medical Care
Afternoon programming includes specialized services such as equine therapy, sound bowl sessions, and fitness programs. Medical services including psychiatric appointments and GeneSight testing are scheduled as needed.
Evening: Fitness Programs & Personal Development
Evening programming includes self-defense training for women and personal trainer sessions, with support from our on-staff fitness professionals.
